Sokoj comprises the following formal bodies: Assembly, Board of Directors, Director, and Supervisory Board.
Authors’ Council is a permanent working group of the Assembly.
The Assembly is the highest statutory executive body.
The Assembly and the Board of Directors administer the operation of Sokoj.
The Director manages the Professional Service Functions.
The Supervisory Board monitors and supervises the operation of the organisation and other bodies.
The Authors’ Council has a controlling and regulatory role in the implemenatation of Distribution Plan.
The Assembly, as the highest statutory executive body, sets up basic business policies, approves Sokoj’s Financial Plan, Statute, and Distribution Plan, decides on reports regarding the performance of the bodies and financial statements, appoints and dismisses the members of the bodies and performs any other tasks identified by the law, Statute, and other general bylaws of Sokoj.
Members eligible to qualify for the Assembly:
The Assembly is held at least once a year and at the time of its convening, all members on the current List of the Assembly Members are invited to participate.
The Board of Directors manages the operations of Sokoj in compliance with the decisions of the Assembly. The Board of Directors consists of thirteen members, of which four authors represent classical and jazz music, eight authors represent other genres and one represents domestic publishers.
The Board of Directors approves general and particular bylaws of Sokoj, sets up collection and distribution policy, general calculation of royalties, and the List of the Assembly Members, decides on entering into contracts with foreign societies, and on appointment and dismissal of the managing director of Sokoj, and carries out other tasks in line with the law, the Statute and other general bylaws of Sokoj.
At the session of the Assembly of Sokoj held on 20 May 2018, the following persons were elected members of the Board of Directors: Nikola Čuturilo, Zoran Dašić, Milan Đurđević, Dragana Jovanović, Jovan Maljoković, Miloš Miša Mijatović, Saša Milošević Mare, Zoran Simjanović, Srđan Hofman, Jugoslav Bošnjak, Ivana Stefanović, Željko Vasič and Gold diginet doo represented by Ines Stefanović.
At the extraordinary session of the Assembly held on 13 June 2018, Rights and Royalties Publishing Company d.o.o., represented by Stanimir Lukić, was elected member of the Board of Directors instead of Gold diginet doo, and at the ordinary session held on 25 May 2019, Mr. Draško Adžić was elected member of the Assembly instead of the former member Mr. Jugoslav Bošnjak.
At the extraordinary electoral session held on 26 January 2020, Bora Dugić, Divna Ljubojević and Tatjana Milošević Mijanović were elected instead of Srđan Hofman, Ivana Stefanović and Željko Vasić, members of the Board of Directors who resigned, so that the members of the actual Board of Directors are:

The Director of Sokoj manages the operations of the Professional Service Functions of Sokoj.
The Director organises the work process and manages operations within the scope of the activities of Sokoj in accordance with the decisions of the Assembly and the Board of Directors.
The Director is accountable to the Board of Directors for the running of Sokoj.
At the session held on 11 February 2019, the Board of Directors of Sokoj appointed Mr. Dejan Manojlović, LL.B, from Belgrade, as the Director of Sokoj.
The Supervisory Board monitors and controls the operations of Sokoj. The Supervisory Board consists of five members and must represent all genres.
The competence of the Supervisory Board is to supervise the implementation of the Statute, tariff fees, and other bylaws and decision of Sokoj bodies, control the operations and the List of the Assembly Members, give opinion at request of other bodies and interpret the Statute.
At the extraordinary electoral session of the Sokoj Assembly held on 26 January 2020, the following members were elected members of the Supervisory Board:
The Authors’ Council is an expert working group of the Assembly controlling and regulating the implementation of Distribution Plan.
The Authors’ Council consists of nine members, of which three represent classical and jazz music, and six authors represent other genres.
The competence of the Authors’s Council is to propose Distribution Plan, control the implementation of Distribution Plan and decide upon the authors’ complaints referring to the implementation of Distribution Plan, including any expert activities to be performed in small expert commissions elected among its members.
At the Sokoj Assembly held on 20 May 2018, the following members were elected members of the Authors’ Council: Vladimit Tošić, Ivan Brkljačić, Branka Popović, Dušan Alagić, Nevenka Leković, Slobodan Marković, Miša Marković, Radivoje Radivojević and Zlatko Timotić.
At the extraordinary session of the Sokoj Assembly held on 26 January 2020, Slavko Mitrović Cale was elected instead of Zlatko Timotić, who resigned.
In the meantime, Dušan Alagić resigned and Miša Marković passed away, so that the Authors’ Council members are:
